Open Access Policy

PLHR follows an open-access model under which published research is made available online without requiring readers to purchase a subscription. The purpose is to reduce barriers to scholarly communication and allow students, researchers, teachers and independent readers to consult published work.

Articles may be read and accessed through the journal's online platforms subject to the applicable copyright and Creative Commons terms. Open access does not remove the obligation to acknowledge authorship, source material or licensing conditions.

PLHR's published content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) framework, as stated by the journal.
